Bent Knee to Floor

Lying on the back, one knee bent, the other foot pressing that knee inward toward the floor

Stretching should be uncomfortable yet pain-free.

Dr. DeWitt recommends these stretches to his patients. If one hurts, stop.

How

  1. Lie on your back and bend one knee.
  2. With the other leg, put that foot on the outside edge of the bent knee.
  3. Slowly press the bent knee inward with that foot, as far as you can without pain, and hold.
  4. Repeat with the other leg.

For an added stretch, hold your head up with your hands.
